Onboarding for Partners

How to connect Guesty to RNTX

Generate a Guesty Open API Client ID and Client Secret from Integrations → API & Webhooks to start syncing your listings with RNTX.

RNTX partners with property managers using Guesty to sync listings, availability, and reservations automatically through Guesty's Open API. Connecting your Guesty account takes a few minutes.

Before you start

  • You'll need an admin user on your Guesty account. Open API access is only available on eligible Guesty plans. If the steps below don't match what you see, contact Guesty support to confirm Open API is enabled.
  • No Guesty Marketplace app install is required. RNTX connects directly through Guesty's Open API using a Client ID and Client Secret.

Generate your Client ID & Client Secret

  1. Log in to Guesty at app.guesty.com with an admin user.
  2. Open Integrations → API & Webhooks from the dashboard menu.
  3. Click Create (or New API application) to generate a new Open API application.
  4. Guesty displays a Client ID and Client Secret. Copy both immediately.

The Client Secret is shown only once. As soon as you close the dialog, Guesty redacts it permanently. There's no way to view it again. If you lose it, you'll need to create a new API application and update your credentials in RNTX.

Connect your credentials in RNTX

  1. Paste the Client ID and Client Secret into the Guesty step of the RNTX partner onboarding wizard.
  2. Click Test Connection to verify RNTX can reach your Guesty account.
  3. Click Save and Continue. RNTX begins importing your listings and registers a webhook subscription so future changes in Guesty sync automatically.

What RNTX does with your credentials

Your Client ID and Client Secret are encrypted before they're stored. RNTX uses them only to read your listings, reservations, and availability, and to keep calendars and bookings in sync, the same access any Guesty Open API integration uses.

Troubleshooting

  • Don't see "API & Webhooks" under Integrations? Your plan or user role may not have Open API access enabled. Contact Guesty support to turn it on.
  • Test Connection fails? Double-check you copied the Client Secret correctly. Since Guesty only shows it once, a common cause is an extra space or a truncated copy. If you're unsure, create a new API application and try again.
  • Guesty limits API applications to a small number of token requests per day. This is handled automatically by RNTX and does not require any action on your part.
